2011 was a good year for records at Balls Park.
Starting with the team statistics, the 1st XI batsmen scored at their fastest ever rate of 4.79 runs per over. The 2nd XI with 4.44 runs per over also set a new high. For the third eleven it was a different story, in terms of percentage defeats it was the second worst on record and their opponents set new highs for runs per over and per wicket. The fourth eleven had their second best season in terms of percentage wins and they too set scoring rate records. The fifth eleven are a young side, well most of them are, and they too had a claim to fame – the first club team to play over ten matches in a season and remain unbeaten.
